Welcome to Roseville, IL
Welcome to Roseville, Illinois, population 898 as of the 2010 census. Roseville is located in west central Warren County at the crossroads of Route 67 and 116, just a half hour east of the Mighty Mississippi River and Burlington, Iowa. Twenty minutes to the south is Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois, fifteen minutes to the north is Monmouth College in Monmouth, and ninety minutes to the east is Bradley University in Peoria. It doesn’t take long to get to anywhere from the center of town.
Roseville is a good place to raise your family. We have a great park, open all year, and the Warren County Fair is held here in July. When it is warm enough there are always people walking with their kids or riding bikes around town. Our school district is a consolidation of Monmouth and Roseville school districts. We have been consolidated since 2005. The junior high is located here in Roseville. Other grades are bussed to Monmouth, but it is only 12 miles. And…we have an ice cream shop and a bowling alley!
We are a farm based community. In fact, the busiest corner of town is where the elevator and the feed business are located. Other businesses, located on Main Street, Penn Avenue and throughout the community, depend on farm families to keep them going. It is a small town. Some say it is dying, but there are still many things going on. We have a pharmacy, a bank, a bowling alley, a stained glass shop and more. Check out the rest of our webpage and then come visit. We even have a motel where you can stay if you don’t know anyone.
